Amazon Bans Foreign Seeds In US After Thousands Got Unsolicited Packets
In late July the Department of Agriculture reported that packages of seeds had been sent to Americans and warned not to plant them, in case they posed a danger to US agriculture.
Amazon has banned income of imported seeds in the United States after heaps of Americans stated they had obtained packets of seeds they had no longer ordered, in the main from China.
"Moving forward, we are solely allowing the sale of seeds with the aid of marketers who are based totally in the US," the e-commerce large stated in a declaration Saturday.
In late July the Department of Agriculture said that applications of seeds had been despatched to Americans and warned no longer to plant them, in case they posed a hazard to US agriculture.
